Shyam Sel & Power Commissions 8.90 MWp Hybrid Solar Plant

Shyam Sel and Power, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shyam Metalics and Energy, has officially commissioned an 8.90 MWp captive solar power plant at its Jamuria manufacturing facility in West Bengal. Executed through a hybrid model, the installation features 4.60 MWp under the CAPEX model and 4.30 MWp under the OPEX model.

Designed to supply power directly to the facility, the solar installation aligns with Shyam Metalics’ broader sustainability strategy—lowering operational costs, improving energy efficiency, and reducing the environmental footprint across its integrated metal manufacturing operations.
